Lovely location and very handy to walk into the town on an evening. The site is quite run down and tired. Bar closed, pool green and now the home to some quite happy ducks. Whole place is just shouting out for a lick of paint and cleaning up. Make some of the disused and derelict buildings look a bit more presentable. Have left a generous 3 stars.

Although brilliantly located with a lake, beach, shops and restaurants nearby the camp is rather old and run down. We are here for 1 night in a motorhome. There are 2 or 3 blocks for showers etc one was OK and there is a laundry with 2 machines. There could be a lovely pool but it is green and dilapidated - such a shame. Might be better in the summer?

Freindly welcome from English speaking receptionist and also good with giving advice about locality. Great location on the local cycle route and easy walking or cycling along cycle path to Praia de Mira where there is a fantastic beach. Also check out the ice cream parlour and bar opposite the seafaring statue on the seafront. Loved the campsite bar. Fabulous atmosphere, quality simple cooking and welcoming staff. Pitches amongst pine trees. Sanitary facilities basic but adequate and clean. Excellent swimming pool with bar. Overall good value and would stay here again.

Decent campsite park with cute tipis etc for hire. I was quite disappointed however, the tipis were not properly maintained at all! I stayed with my partner and 2 children in one. It was quite spacious and the beds pretty comfy. The trouble came when getting our things in and then at night. There was only one little table to keep everything on and a few hangers for clothes but no where to hang them. So most of our stuff was on the floor and on suitcase, bags, towels etc. When the night came, it was like sleeping outdside! The tipi had so many gaps and ripped windows that it did not keep any heat in whatsoever. We had to use the duvets provided plus blankets that we had to borrow from my mum who was staying in her tent, and still slept in jumpers! I stayed one night in the tent and was so much warmer! The other thing is there is somekind of orange dye or rust all over the tipis, wooden parts of the floor and the railings. It would go everywhere, hands, feet, arms, clothes etc my children were orange most of the time as they play on the floor. In conclusion I would stay at this park again but only with my own tent. Its walking distance to the beach and shops, restaurants etc but definitely wouldn't waste my money on the tipis again!

Absolutely dire... It looks derelict and needs major investment. One star as the staff were very nice and don't deserve to be tarred with the same brush as the owners.
